Islam against Women

We are living in the darkest ages of human history. About 23% of world population, 1.6 billion people, are Muslims living in Muslim countries, ruled by laws of Islam – Sharia. By rules of Sharia, woman is the de facto property of man, her father, brother or husband. So today there are about 800 million women, all around the world, who are abused, raped and oppressed, each day in every possible way , just because they were born as females in Islamic countries. They don’t have even the basic freedom over there own body.

In my opinion, people who don’t feel furious by this absurd situation, are damaged in very basic way.

There is one blogger from Egypt who are being the voice of women who not allowed to speak, her name is Aliaa Magda el-Mahdy. Yesterday ( 20 Dec 2012 ) she and activists from women’s movement FEMEN protested in front of Egypt embassy in Stockholm. They protested against Sharia that being proposed, by new Egypt president Morsi, as new constitution of Egypt.
